Three Steps to Your First API Call

Follow the steps below to go from registration to making authenticated API requests.

Step 1

Register

Create your developer portal account to access products and API documentation.

  1. Sign up using your work email

  2. Verify your email address

  3. Sign into the portal

Step 2

Subscribe

Subscribe to the API products you need to access their endpoints.

  1. Speak to your Digital lead about Signing the PCL NDA

  2. PCL issue your client credentials

  3. Browse available products

  4. Subscribe to a product to be assigned a subscription key

Step 3

Call APIs

Use your subscription key to authenticate and start calling APIs.

  1. Use your subscription key and client credentials to obtain a token

  2. Add token to request headers

  3. Test using Postman or the test it functionality in the developer portal

Full access to the developer portal is subject to PCL approval, due diligence, and completion of required onboarding checks
